We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Supervisor to oversee daily operations within our hospitality or food service establishment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a solid background in food preparation and restaurant management, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. Duties
Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff members, including chefs, servers, and kitchen assistants
Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to ensure quality and presentation standards are met
Manage daily operational tasks such as inventory control, stock replenishment, and ensuring cleanliness in accordance with food safety regulations
Provide training and mentorship to team members to promote professional development and high performance
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the kitchen and service areas
Handle customer enquiries and resolve any issues promptly to maintain high levels of satisfaction
Assist in planning menus or service schedules as required
Monitor staff performance, conduct appraisals, and support team management initiatives
Qualifications
Proven experience in supervising within a restaurant, hotel, or hospitality environment
Background in food preparation, cooking, and culinary techniques
Knowledge of food safety standards and food production processes
Demonstrable leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently under pressure
Previous experience in serving or hospitality roles is advantageous
Familiarity with kitchen operations, hotel service standards, or barista experience is desirable
Good communication skills and a professional attitude towards customer service. Ability to speak Spanish is a bonus but not necessary.
