Manage Operations activities

Supervise the activities on the site and ensure the activities are performed in accordance with the Operational Excellence and Health and Safety principles within Sibelco.


Ensure the team, both own employees and subcontractors, perform their activities considering health and safety as the highest priority


Motivate people to report unsafe/unhealthy behaviours/issues


Control the activities to deliver best competitive cost position and ensure remain within budgeted Opex and Capex prescriptions


Control waste management


Operate within the frameworks of the required permits

Quality and Quantity

Strive to achieve the optimal balance between customer demands and specifications in relation to quality, quantity, efficiency and cost.

People Management

Support and encourage team members to increase team collaboration and their individual development and growth.

About You

Practical understanding of the industrial mineral industry and knowledge of local quarry regulations and permit policies


Strong knowledge of Health and Safety


Previous Supervisory experience


Good People Management skills


Strong Communicator


Team Player


Proactive and able to work with minimum supervision
