We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Supervisor to oversee daily operations within our restaurant. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive culinary and kitchen experience, and a passion for delivering exceptional service. This role involves supervising staff, ensuring food safety standards are met, and maintaining high-quality food production. The Supervisor will play a vital part in fostering a positive team environment and ensuring customer satisfaction through efficient management and operational excellence.

Duties



Supervise and coordinate the activities of kitchen and service staff to ensure smooth daily operations Oversee food preparation, cooking, and presentation to uphold quality standards Manage team schedules, assign tasks, and monitor performance to optimise productivity Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards across all areas Assist in training new staff members in food safety, service procedures, and culinary techniques Monitor stock levels, place orders for supplies, and manage inventory control Handle customer queries or complaints professionally to maintain high levels of satisfaction Collaborate with management to develop menus, specials, and promotional activities Maintain a clean, organised work environment adhering to health and safety protocols

Qualifications



Proven supervising experience within a restaurant, hotel, or hospitality setting Extensive knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen operations Strong team management skills with the ability to motivate staff effectively Experience in food safety standards and compliance requirements Background in culinary arts or hospitality management is highly desirable Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask under pressure Previous experience in food production or restaurant environments preferred Leadership qualities with a proactive approach to problem-solving Knowledge of serving protocols and hospitality industry practices such as barista or bar service experience is advantageous
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 12.75 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 30 per week
