We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Supervisor to lead our team within a vibrant hospitality or food service environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive culinary and kitchen experience, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. Responsibilities
Supervise daily food preparation and cooking activities, ensuring quality and consistency across all dishes
Manage and coordinate team members, providing guidance and support to optimise performance
Oversee food safety protocols, maintaining compliance with health regulations and company policies
Organise staff schedules, assign tasks, and monitor workflow to ensure efficient service delivery
Assist with training new staff members in food production, service standards, and safety procedures
Monitor inventory levels, assist with stock ordering, and ensure proper storage of ingredients and supplies
Handle customer enquiries or complaints professionally, ensuring high levels of satisfaction
Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the kitchen and service areas in accordance with hygiene standards
Collaborate with management on menu planning, special events, and operational improvements
Qualifications
Proven supervising experience within a restaurant, hotel, or hospitality environment
Extensive culinary experience including food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety knowledge
Strong team management skills with the ability to motivate staff and foster a positive working environment
Knowledge of food production processes and kitchen operations
Experience in serving or hospitality roles is advantageous
Leadership qualities with excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
Familiarity with health regulations related to food safety and hygiene standards
Previous experience in restaurant or hotel settings is preferred; barista experience is a plus
Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment
