Ontic, an aerospace industry leading provider of 'Extended Life Solutions' for Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) legacy and non-core products, has an opportunity for a Supplier Compliance Coordinator to join our team based at our Staverton site, to support our continued success and ambitious growth plans.
What will you be doing?
As the Supplier Compliance Coordinator, you'll play a vital role in the success of our Supplier Compliance Team. You'll act under the direction of our Supplier Compliance Engineers to ensure the accuracy, quality, and integrity of company documents. You'll send, receive, store, manage, and track documents in addition to ensuring all departments can access neccesary documention when needed.
In this role, you'll also have the opportunity to assist with additional quality projects/duties as assigned by the Supplier Quality Manager. For example; communicating with Suppliers to manage supplier corrective actions (SCA), setting up a media management system to manage supplier documents, assist with Root Cause Analysis and team problem solving, support improvements and perform problem source inspection activities, and generate any necessary supplier reports.
Previous Aerospace experience is a bonus but we would encourage applications from any industry if you feel you have the skills and/or experience for the role.
What experience will you have?
You'll be a natural problem solver and able to demonstrate effective communication skills (both written and verbal) with stakeholders at all levels. You'll have an effective understanding of MS office applications and ERPS systems. You'll have a background knowledge of technical documentation control. You'll demonstrate the ability to consider wider business implications as part of decision making. You'll also be able to work and contribute in a team environment. The ability to travel regularly for the role would also be required.
An advantage would be experience of effective document control and the verification process. We're a busy team so strong collaboration skills and an ability to manage priorities effectively is essential.
