The role is responsible for successfully onboarding new products and suppliers while ensuring the ongoing maintenance and accuracy of supplier data and product feeds. A key focus is to reduce friction for suppliers, support Category & Campaign Managers, and safeguard the quality and reliability of Eden's data systems, where information can quickly become outdated. In addition, the role provides support with procurement tasks, helping to streamline purchasing activities and ensure smooth supplier interactions
Responsibilities
Supplier & Product Onboarding
Support the onboarding of new suppliers and products, as well as new products from existing suppliers.
Collaboration & Coordination
Work under the direction of the Procurement Coordination Lead, collaborating closely with the sales and category management teams to validate and progress supplier and product opportunities.
Support category managers by removing operational barriers, ensuring clear rationale, expectations, and priorities are understood.
Communicate effectively across internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding operations.
Supplier Evaluation
Assist in evaluating potential suppliers by gathering data, conducting correspondence, and completing comparative analyses.
Assist in assessing supplier capabilities and suitability in line with organisational requirements.
Procurement Support
Provide assistance with procurement tasks, including data gathering, order support, and supplier follow-up.
Help streamline purchasing activities by ensuring smooth communication and coordination with suppliers and freight providers
Contribute to procurement activities with administrative and operational support as required.
Data & Systems Management
Ensure supplier data and stock feeds are accurately set up, monitored, and maintained, providing valid and up-to-date information.
Take responsibility for the ongoing upkeep of supplier data, ensuring obsolete or inaccurate information is identified and corrected promptly.
Oversee feed operations for internal systems, including resolving missing assets and processing product removals.
Administration & Reporting
Track and update supplier status through all onboarding stages.
Complete associated administrative tasks to support onboarding, supplier management, procurement activities, and data maintenance.
Measure impact through the number of new products and suppliers onboarded, the accuracy and quality of maintained data, and the associated revenue and margin growth.
Coordinating supplier interactions during the onboarding process until successful handover to operational teams.
Guide suppliers through the process by providing clear documentation, instructions, and support.
Build and maintain positive, collaborative relationships with suppliers, addressing queries and connecting them with other departments where appropriate.
Requirements
Essential

Strong communication skills, able to engage confidently with suppliers and colleagues at all levels.
Ability to build strong professional relationships with external and internal stakeholders
Experience in data entry, upkeep, and systems monitoring.
Proactive problem-solving mindset and adaptability to changing priorities.
Strong IT and analytical skills to be able to effectively manage data, as well as monitor and navigate our product merchandising, procurement and other systems.
Desirable
Experience in supplier onboarding, procurement support, or supplier relationship management in a commercial environment.
Familiarity with product data feed formats such as ONIX, or similar structured data exchange standards.
Confidence using spreadsheets, databases, and other digital tools to manage and maintain data.
Knowledge of procurement processes and supplier support.
Exposure to process improvement or project support activities.
Hybrid:
After 6 months in person there is the opportunity to work 3 days in the office and 2 days at home.
