Job Description

We are looking for a

Supply Chain Coordinator

to join our team here at Thermatic Technical FM.


Thermatic Technical FM provide complete nationwide coverage, across the full spectrum of Hard FM services to large, commercial clients. Our team of mobile engineers are supported by the account teams at Head Office to provide both reactive breakdown and planned maintenance services to our clients.


As a supply chain coordinator support the delivery of the supply chain and procurement strategy in a decentralised buying environment, ensuring that operational teams adhere to procurement processes, supplier performance is monitored, and value is captured. Supporting the Head of Supply Chain - the role will maintain continuity during temporary planned parental leave.

Hours & Location of Work:




Main location - Thermatic Head Office, Salford. Possible opportunities to work remotely for a portion of the working week will be available. Regular hours of work - Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm - 40 hour working week

Skills, Experience & Qualifications:




Experience in procurement or supply chain roles Ideally experience within a facilities management environment Strong communication skills A practical understanding of supplier management and compliance Comfortable working in a decentralised environment Comfortable with collaborating across departments to ensure process adherence Tactical and supportive: Focuses on delivery, governance, and value -- not strategy or leadership. Non-competing: Clearly positioned as a support role, not a strategic lead. Evidence-based: Provides measurable outputs (e.g. compliance rates, supplier performance, savings). FM-specific: Understands the urgency and complexity of technical FM procurement.

Responsibilities include:




Work with finance and operational leads to monitor adherence to procurement policies and delegated authority levels. Identify and escalate non-compliance or off-contract spend. Support internal stakeholders in understanding and applying procurement processes correctly. Act as a liaison between operational teams and key suppliers to ensure service continuity. Track supplier KPIs and SLAs, particularly for technical and compliance-critical services. Support supplier onboarding and documentation management (e.g. insurance, accreditations). Collaborate with finance to track spend against budget and identify opportunities for savings or consolidation. Maintain dashboards or trackers to evidence procurement value and contract utilisation. Support invoice queries and reconciliation by validating supplier performance and delivery. Be the go-to contact for procurement-related queries from engineers, site managers, and contract leads. Assist with sourcing or supplier queries where needed, without taking ownership of PO raising.
