Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to support our educational team. This role is essential in providing tailored support to enhance the learning experiences of all students. Additional to supply work, there may be opportunities to work within our own internal alternative education setting.

Responsibilities

Assist the lead teacher in delivering lessons and supporting classroom activities. Provide one-on-one or small group tutoring to students, focusing on their individual learning needs. Support students with additional needs, ensuring they have equal access to educational opportunities. Foster a positive and encouraging atmosphere that promotes student engagement and participation. Maintain effective communication with teachers, and other staff members regarding student progress and challenges. Participate in training sessions and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and stay up-to-date on best practices.

Qualifications

Teaching Assistant Qualification or equivalent qualification is desirable. Previous experience working with children in an educational setting is desirable. Strong communication skills both written and verbal to effectively interact with students, teachers, other staff. Ability to mentor and provide guidance to students in a supportive manner. A passion for education and a commitment to fostering an inclusive learning environment. Ability to work flexibly across a variety of settings.
Job Type: Temporary

Pay: 85.00-110.00 per day
