The Support Advisor plays a key role in delivering high-quality assistance to both internal and external customers, ensuring smooth usage and troubleshooting of Open GI's product range and services. This role requires strong communication, technical aptitude, and a commitment to operational excellence to deliver the best possible support and advice.

Your key responsibilities



General





Provide quality support to internal & external customers Offering assistance on both usage and troubleshooting of Open GI product range and services Accurate administration of internal computer system Understand and follow the standards and procedures used within the team Communicate effectively at all levels internally and externally

Team/Operational





Maintain the level of calls defined by team objectives Escalate calls according to procedures Investigate and resolve issues in a controlled and timely manner using remote diagnostic tools when necessary Support internal teams / departments with similar requirements to customers Provide cover for other teams within the Support Centre where necessary

Requirements:

Qualifications



Educated to GCSE (or equivalent) with passes in Maths & English

Experience



Knowledge of Open GI Limited product range and services (advantageous) Knowledge of the Insurance Industry and or Brokerage (advantageous) Working knowledge of Microsoft products, including office and Windows 11 (advantageous)

Skills



Ability to work under pressure whilst maintaining enthusiasm Analytical approach to problem solving Excellent telephone and verbal/written communication skills at all levels Good team player

Aptitudes



Excellent customer handling skills Takes personal responsibility for customer satisfaction and attempts to add value for the customer Ability to convey technical information to non-technical colleagues / customers Positive attitude towards learning new skills Willing to ask for support from others, proactively asks how they can support others. Please note, this is a hybrid role requiring a minimum two days in-office attendance following an initial training period where full office attendance would be required at our

Worcester office.
