Hybrid- expectation of office working every week with travel to Shropshire

West Mercia Women's Aid (WMWA) is working hard to continue to provide much-needed support for women and children affected by domestic abuse.
We are seeking to recruit a DA expert to work in a support and advocacy role working within our project with the armed forces, providing essential support to women and children who have been affected by domestic abuse. This role requires face-to-face support and working in an environment with serving soldiers, spouses and civil servants.
This is a new project currently funded until October 2027
We are looking for someone who is:
Committed to the values of empowerment and equality
Has experience of working as part of a team to improve outcomes for the vulnerable
Holds knowledge and understanding of the military community
Is passionate about working within this community to achieve accessibility to all
A driver with the ability to undertake regular site visits in Shropshire and more specifically to Cosford and Shawbury
