is looking for a caring, dependable support assistant to work one-to-one with a

Year 5 pupil who has epilepsy or seizure-related health needs

. This is a vital role focused on ensuring the child's safety, confidence, and sense of security throughout the school day.

Role Overview

You will provide tailored support to help the pupil feel calm, understood, and fully included in school life. Your presence will be key in managing their well-being, responding calmly in medical situations, and promoting emotional stability and engagement with learning.

You'll work closely with class teachers and the school's medical team, becoming a trusted part of the wider pastoral support network.

Have experience supporting children with epilepsy or medical needs (training will be provided if not) Can remain composed and attentive in situations involving health or emotional needs Communicate clearly and compassionately with staff, pupils, and families Have a nurturing, professional approach and a genuine interest in helping young people thrive
