What Will You Be Doing?




Reporting to the Application Support Manager the Support Consultant plays a vital role in delivering high-quality, customer-focused technical support to external clients in critical control room environments. As part of a collaborative support team, the role is responsible for fault resolution, technical guidance, and advice in alignment with contracted Service Level Agreements (SLAs). In addition to providing third line support, the technician will contribute to the training and development of other support personnel, helping to maintain and enhance the organisation's Service Management Policy and Plan.


In this role, you will be responsible for:




Providing 3rd line remote support to UK and international customers Collaborating with internal teams and third parties to resolve technical issues Managing ITSM cases in line with SLAs and escalating when required Delivering on-site support across Zetron's product range as needed Applying software updates and configuration changes through Change and Release processes Maintaining customer documentation and internal knowledge base content Building stakeholder relationships and attending service review meetings Participating in Change Approval and Defect Control Board meetings Liaising with vendors to meet service targets and escalating risks when necessary Developing expertise in Zetron's proprietary software and configuration tools Maintaining diagnostic procedures and documenting effective workarounds

About You




We are seeking a proactive and solutions-focused professional with a passion for delivering high-quality technical support in complex environments. With strong communication skills, you can confidently engage with customers, internal teams, and third-party vendors, translating technical issues into clear, actionable solutions. A collaborative team player, you thrive in a fast-paced environment and are always willing to share knowledge and support colleagues.


Ideally, you will have experience working with SQL databases, Windows operating systems, VOIP/SIP based systems, network diagnostics, hypervisors and technologies such as Integrated Communication Control Systems (ICCS) and Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD) systems. Your ability to work methodically under pressure, combined with a solid technical foundation, enables you to quickly diagnose and resolve issues while maintaining a customer-first mindset.


This role will require the ability to be to obtain UK NPPV3+SC security clearance.
