Support Officer (AAT Trainee)

Are you interested in supporting smooth financial operations? If so we are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Payments Admin Support Officer to join our dynamic, diverse team!


As a Payments Admin Support Officer, you'll play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our payment processes. You'll work closely with internal services and external suppliers dealing with queries and supporting transaction processing and system workflows.


Key Responsibilities

Assist with the monitoring and processing of payment transactions on behalf of the Authority within a centralised service unit Liaise with internal departments and external stakeholders to ensure timely resolution of all enquires raised. Ensuring that data is entered in line with process procedure in an accurate and timely way to maintain accurate records and support audit requirements Statement processing to ensure that the Authority's liabilites are protected.

Someone who commits to a strong attention to detail Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and a team player. Someone who can work independently on their own initative Experience in financial operations or payment processing (preferred) Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team A proactive mindset with a commitment to service excellence
