role and responsibilities





We are looking for a highly organised and discreet Support Officer to join the Chief Operating Officer's Office. This is a pivotal role supporting the Executive Assistant in delivering a high-performing, responsive, and professional executive office.



You'll be instrumental in supporting the COO's Office to run smoothly, providing administrative and operational support that enables the team to focus on strategic priorities.

You will:





Support with the coordination of meetings, briefings, and internal communications. Support with the organisation and collation of confidential information and ensure records and materials are stored securely. Support with the preparation of reports, presentations, and other materials to a high standard, ensuring these are distributed in a timely manner. As part of the COO office team, provide high-quality administrative support to the COO, including support with the COO calendar, meeting support and action follow up. Be the first point of contact for the monthly Delivery Assurance Committee meeting, working with the Corporate Secretariat to ensure agendas, papers, minutes and actions are developed, submitted, and recorded correctly and in a timely manner. Manage the COO Group fortnightly stand ups ensuring the rolling agenda is planned in advance with speakers on relevant and engaging subjects from across the organisation and within COO Group. Handle correspondence and documentation with professionalism and discretion. Develop and maintain positive relationship with key stakeholders across the organisation. Use sound judgement to triage issues and escalate where appropriate. Support the COO Office in maintaining operational excellence and mitigating risk.

Strong administrative experience in a fast-paced, professional environment. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proven ability to handle confidential information with integrity. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail. Ability to work collaboratively and build effective relationships across teams. Confidence in prioritising tasks and managing competing deadlines. Familiarity with project coordination or stakeholder engagement.

The team





The Chief Operating Officer Group brings together key operational functions such as People, Finance, Risk, Compliance, and Business Continuity to provide timely, clear, and flexible support to all teams across TPR. This enables the organisation to fulfil its statutory objectives and deliver on its priorities effectively and efficiently.



This role, alongside the Executive Assistant and Personal Assistants deployed across the group, plays a crucial part in ensuring the smooth running of the COO Office. By providing high-quality administrative and operational support, it helps senior leaders stay focused on strategic delivery while maintaining strong governance, coordination, and communication across the organisation.
