Domestic Abuse Support Work Team Leader with previous experience in Domestic Abuse as a social carer / support worker or similar working with vulnerable individuals with good staff supervision skills is required to join our team at A2Dominion based in Oxford.SALARY: xc2xa335,675 - xc2xa341,308 per annum + Generous Benefits (see below)LOCATION: Oxford, Oxfordshire (OX1) xe2x80x93 with occasional travel to other sitesJOB TYPE: Full-Time, PermanentWORKING HOURS: 35 hours per week, Monday to FridayKEY REQUIREMENTS: Candidates MUST hold a full driving licenceJOB OVERVIEWWe have a fantastic new job opportunity for a Domestic Abuse Support Work Team Leader with previous experience in Domestic Abuse as a social carer / support worker or similar working with vulnerable individuals with good staff supervision skills.Working as the Domestic Abuse Support Work Team Leader you will join the Care and Support department to ensure the delivery, management and development of high-quality person-centred support to customers.As the Domestic Abuse Support Work Team Leader you will also be responsible for facilities management pertaining to the building in accordance with contract specifications, relevant procedures and statutory obligations, enabling individuals to sustain tenancies by promoting independence, freedom and choice.DUTIESYour duties as a Domestic Abuse Support Work Team Leader will include:

  • Act as Designated MARAC Officer
  • Monitor and manage team caseloads, ensuring support is delivered against support plans, group work programmes and within Group Policies and Procedures
  • Monitor and report concern regarding safeguarding issues or significant changes in the health and social circumstances of a client in accordance with relevant policies and procedures
  • Manage and support a team of employees, volunteers and student placements, specifically in the areas of: Absence management, Performance management (conduct, support & supervision/appraisal), and Training and development
  • Develop and maintain an understanding of the needs of service users and of the operating environment, keeping abreast of developments in legislation and best practice standards in order to contribute to the development of the Care & Support strategy. To assist in the review of policies and procedures accordingly
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
  • Driving License essential
  • Level 4 in Health and Social Care or equivalent desirable (e.g. domestic abuse qualification)
  • Experience working within Domestic Abuse essential
  • Experience of MARAC processes desirable
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Experience of staff supervision and managing performance
  • Social care experience and/or experience working with vulnerable customers
  • Knowledge of safeguarding essential
  • Organisational skills, including time management and ability to meet targets
  • IT skills: confident using Microsoft offices
