We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Support Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to individuals in our clients home. Responsibilities

As the Support Worker you will provide personal care assistance, including bathing, support with seizure management and peg management. Assist with medication administration as per prescribed guidelines. Engage in behaviour management strategies to promote positive interactions. Facilitate social activities and encourage participation to enhance well-being. As the Support Worker you will support with Manual Handling. Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents or clients. Drive clients to appointments or activities as required. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a nursing home or home care setting is preferred. A background in nursing or relevant healthcare qualifications is advantageous. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients. Knowledge of medication administration procedures is beneficial. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. A genuine passion for providing care and support to vulnerable individuals. A valid driving licence is desirable for transportation duties.
