Support Worker - Alyth

ASA Recruitment, on behalf of our client, is recruiting dedicated and compassionate Support Workers to join a small, supportive team in Alyth, delivering high-quality care to adults with learning disabilities and additional physical needs.
About the Role
You will be working in a welcoming, fully-adapted five-bedroom bungalow that offers a warm, home-like environment. The service supports adults with a wide range of needs, and your role will involve providing 24-hour person-centred support as part of a close-knit team. The house is well located with access to local amenities and good public transport links.
Key Responsibilities
Supporting daily living skills such as cooking, cleaning, and shopping
Providing personal care including toileting and showering
Administering medication safely and accurately
Supporting individuals with mobility using appropriate equipment
Promoting effective communication, including the use of Makaton
Offering emotional, behavioural, and budgeting support
Enabling individuals to access local community resources and activities
Encouraging safe, positive communal living
Maintaining accurate records and contributing to continuous service improvement
Hours
Rotational shifts including early shifts, back shifts, nightshifts, and sleepovers
This is a 24/7 service, 365 days a year
What We're Looking For
Previous experience in a care or support setting
A genuine commitment to supporting vulnerable individuals
Strong teamwork and communication skills
Willingness to complete relevant training and register with the SSSC
Understanding of and commitment to the SSSC Codes of Practice
What You'll Receive
12.60 per hour, paid weekly
Enhanced pay rates up to 16.80 for nights and weekends after 12 weeks
