This is a
bank position
offering flexible hours to cover daily support needs, annual leave, or sickness.
Your Responsibilities
Supporting individuals to access their local community safely (e.g., leisure, social, and educational activities)
Encouraging participation in structured life-skills sessions such as cooking, budgeting, or travel training
Promoting independence, dignity, and choice in all aspects of daily living
Maintaining accurate records and updating care/support plans as required
Communicating effectively with families, colleagues, and external professionals
About You
Minimum
6 months' experience
in a care or support role (experience with Autism, learning disabilities, or mental health preferred)
Confident in lone working, following care plans, and maintaining professional boundaries
Person-centred approach with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Reliable, flexible, and committed to delivering high-quality care
Enhanced DBS
required (or willingness to obtain one)
Driving licence
desirable but not essential
