About the Role

We are looking for an

enthusiastic and compassionate

individual to join our team as a

Project Worker

. This role involves supporting vulnerable adults who have experienced homelessness, helping them to access the services, skills, and confidence needed to move forward in life.

Key responsibilities include:

Providing day-to-day emotional and practical support to residents. Helping residents develop life skills such as budgeting, cooking, and maintaining a tenancy. Supporting residents with

mental health challenges and/or substance misuse issues

, promoting access to specialist services where needed. Building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders, including local authorities, health services, and community organisations, to support positive resident outcomes. Supporting individuals to attend appointments and engage with education, training, or employment opportunities. Ensuring accurate records are kept in line with organizational policies and key tasks such as applying for Housing and other benefits are timely completed, Contributing to a safe and positive living environment.

About You

We're looking for someone who is:

Compassionate, understanding, and committed to making a difference. Experienced in working with vulnerable adults (previous homelessness sector experience is an advantage). A strong communicator who can work both independently and as part of a small, supportive team. Organized, adaptable, team player and able to respond calmly to challenging situations.

Qualifications/Requirements:

NVQ Level 2 or above in Health and Social Care

is desirable (or willing to work towards it). Various training opportunities will be provided as part of the role.
