Support Worker

Cadishead, Greater Manchester, United Kingdom

Job Description

Are you looking for a role where you can genuinely make a difference in someone's life? Do you believe in supporting people to live life in a way that makes sense to them?
We're looking for thoughtful, resilient and committed people to join our brilliant team in Manchester. You'll be supporting Diane in her own home, helping her to live well, in ways that reflect who she is and what matters to her. We have both full-time and part-time roles available, working to support a 24/7 rota.
Meet Diane*:
Diane is warm, lively and has a great sense of humour. She enjoys being out and about - especially visiting the beach, going for drives, and spending time with animals. She loves meeting new people and building meaningful connections. Diane is autistic and expresses her needs through her behaviour, especially when words don't come easily.
With trust, consistency, and compassion, you'll build a great relationship with Diane. You'll be part of a supportive, experienced team, including a Senior Support Worker and Frontline Manager. Together, you'll be using MacIntyre's Positive Behaviour Support framework to support Diane and help her feel heard, safe and understood.
What we offer:
Full, free training when you join
Ongoing learning and development
A supportive, values-led team
Access to employee benefits, including the Blue Light discount card
If you value respect, patience and empathy, and understand the importance of building trust over time, we'd love to hear from you.
Please note, we are currently unable to offer sponsorships as we await further guidance from the Home Office. Applications requiring sponsorship cannot be considered at this time. We appreciate your understanding.
