To provide high-quality care and support to individuals , ensuring their safety, well-being, and personal development. This role involves working flexibly as part of a dedicated care team, promoting independence and supporting service users with a range of needs in line with their care plans.
Key Responsibilities:
Support service users with daily living tasks, including personal care, meal preparation, medication, and household duties.
Encourage and facilitate independence, choice, and community involvement.
Build trusting relationships with individuals, promoting dignity, respect, and inclusion.
Implement and follow personalized care plans in collaboration with the permanent staff team.
Record and report on observations, incidents, and changes in needs or behaviour accurately and promptly.
Essential Requirements:
Experience in a care or support setting (preferably within learning disabilities, mental health, or supported living).
Enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check - or willingness to complete one.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Flexibility to work various shifts including days, nights, weekends, and bank holidays.
Right to work in the UK.
Shifts Available:
Varied - including long days, waking nights, sleep-ins, and weekend cover. Shift patterns will be shared in advance.
