We are looking for compassionate and caring individuals for our

Residential Care Homes for Adults with Learning Disabilities and Mental Health that can make a real benefit to a vulnerable person's life!

Main Duties



At the start of the shift, get updates from the previous shift leader, plans for the day and communication book. To cover for absent or sick colleagues as requested. Being responsible for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of those individuals they support. Assisting residents (Male and Female) with personal care tasks such as; bathing, dressing, oral care, toileting. Competently administer medication as directed by management. Arrange and coordinate in-house activities, community activities and outpatient appointments. Supporting the overall well-being of our residents and the service by completing tasks such as household and bedroom cleaning, meal preparation, laundry duties, toileting and shopping. Helping residents to maintain and develop relationships with family, friends, and other people important in their life. Ensure care plans and other information about how to support residents are followed and kept up to date. Be responsible for reporting any changes in the needs of residents. Report damage to residents belongings, company property and equipment to management, as well as maintenance issues.

Support worker Requirements



Experienced in Residential Care; mental health and/or learning disabilities. You must have the right to work in the UK. Work either 8am-3pm or 3pm-8pm with 8am-8pm and 8pm-8am for night shifts. Staff must be able to work every other weekend. Understand the requirements of CQC and expected standards of work. Be devoted to helping improve the quality of life of vulnerable people with their preferences in mind to enhance their wellbeing. Be comfortable and confident working as part of a team or lone working. Be a role model for other carers and be an ambassador for the service.
