You will be supporting individuals with an Acquired Brain Injury to enhance their social opportunities, mobility and access to the community. A fun and fulfilling role for the right candidate!
Part-Time hours available and flexibility to pick up overtime to cover annual leave and sickness.

About you.......
Essential:
Be of a caring and empathetic nature
Confident driver, client has own automatic car
Arranging and supporting to attend appointments.
Understanding of acquired brain injuries and the impact on the service user's behaviour
Client has young children and requires support to assist with School drop off and pick up
Provide supportive care, including assistance with daily living activities to our service user and her children
Provide support that assists the service user with acquiring and maintaining independent living skills.
Ability to work independently and closely with other team members.
Able to effectively communicate with MDT, client, family and the support team. This may involve the highest degree of sensitivity and insight into family dynamics
Patience, enthusiasm, maturity, professionalism are essential for this role.
Be able to work on a rota basis, including, weekends and Bank Holidays
Be able to do sleep-ins on a rota basis (where required)
Ability to use basic IT systems, for care logging purposes
Desirable but not essential, because we will support you and train you.........
Minimum of one years' experience in care
Previous experience within the health and social care sector
NVQ/Diploma Level 2 in Health and Social Care
Care Certificate
Epilepsy Experience
