Job Description
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Specialist Brain Injury Support Worker to support a young female client, aged 18, with a brain injury from birth. This role will focus on providing personalised support to enhance her independence, well-being, and community engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
Providing emotional and practical support tailored to the client's individual needs. Assisting with daily living skills and promoting independence. Facilitating social and community engagement activities. Supporting the client to develop and maintain positive routines. Working to enhance the clients quality of life. Maintaining accurate records and documentation. Working in a professional manner.
Essential Requirements:
Experience working with individuals with brain injuries. Understanding of the challenges associated with brain injuries from birth. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work empathetically and patiently. Reliable and punctual. Level 3 Health and social care is desirable Full UK driving licence and access to a car is desirable.
Personal Qualities:
Compassionate and understanding. Patient and encouraging. Proactive and resourceful. Ability to build positive relationships. Must be female.
Benefits:
