Hillcrest Futures is recruiting for a Support Worker

Various Hours are available ranging from 16 - 39 hours per week

About the Services

We have positions in 3 of our services in the following areas of Edinburgh - The Pleasance, Tollcross and Bruntsfield. We support individuals who are homeless and most likely to have experienced some level of trauma, exclusion, and stigma in their life

About the Role

As a service we provide emotional and practical support with a harm reduction ethos. You will offer support to individuals to develop and maintain independent living skills in all areas of their life.

About You

You will:

Be person-centred with a commitment to a trauma-informed approach. Be skilled in building trusting relationships. Have a non-judgemental approach Have excellent communication skills including verbal and written Be organised with the ability to use your own initiative


Achievement of SVQ2 in Health & Social Care is desirable, but a willingness to undertake study to achieve this is required.
