We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Support Worker to join our teams in Forres, Elgin, Lossiemouth.

The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care and support to individuals in need, including seniors and those with specific health conditions. This position requires a strong commitment to enhancing the quality of life for our clients through personalised care and assistance.

We provide our employees with a travel allowance ranging from 200 (for a full-time position).

Duties

Provide patient care and support to individuals in their homes. Assist with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication management. Engage in behaviour management techniques to promote positive interactions and well-being. Offer companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a trusting relationship. Monitor clients' health and report any changes or concerns to healthcare professionals. Support clients with dementia care, ensuring their safety and comfort. Maintain accurate records of care provided and any observations made during visits.

Experience

Skills in patient care, meal preparation, and behaviour management are highly desirable. A background in support work or relevant healthcare qualifications would be advantageous. A valid driving licence. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare teams. A compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others improve their quality of life.
