Chartwell Trust Care provide bespoke Care and Support to Adults with Learning Disabilities, Autism and Challenging Behaviour. We are seeking Night Support Worker's to work at our joined Residential and Supported Living Services in Syston, Leicestershire.

You would be assisting them with Personal Care, Learning Life Skills and taking part in their favorite activities. If you believe you have the right values and skills to be a Support Worker, we would very much like to hear from you. We have full time days or nights available.

The role of a Support Worker:

Provide support with personal care and domestic duties such as cooking, cleaning and laundry. Encourage the people in our care to learn new life skills and develop their confidence. Encourage them to live more independently and to do activities for themselves. Work as part of a team of Support Workers to ensure the best care is given to everyone in the home. To monitor the physical and mental well being of the people in our care and to report any concerns or changes in their behaviour. Take part in regular team meetings and to communicate within the Team. To take people to medical appointments and help them access the local and wider community (day centres, day trips and take some people to college).

What we require from you to be a successful applicant:

Knowledge or experience of Learning Disabilities, Autism and Challenging Behaviour. NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care or equivalent. Be fully flexible across the hours and days of work. To be able to work within a Team and be a team player. To be able to work under pressure and deal with potentially very challenging situations.
