Coalbrook Residential Care Home in Pontyberem are looking for a Support Assistant to join their team for 20-30 hours per week.

As a Support Worker, you will be instrumental in providing compassionate care and support to individuals, you will utilise your core skills in care experience to enhance the quality of life for those you serve promoting independence and choice. Your relevant skills in first aid and medication administration will ensure the safety and well-being of clients. On a daily basis you will be responsible to ensure the day to day running of Coalbrook meets the needs of the people we support in accordance with our policies and procedures and will be asked to assist with aspects of physical care such as bathing, showering, dressing, assist with the management of incontinences and provide service users with the opportunity for psychical and emotional development.

This role requires a valid driving license, as you may need to transport clients to appointments or activities, making you a vital part of their daily lives.

Applicants must have QCF Level 2 or working towards a Level 2.

You will also be required to assist with administrative duties as required by the management, by completing all records as required and help to ensure that the home is kept clean and tidy at all times.

This position is subject to an enhanced DBS check.

Pay: From 12.34 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 37.5 per week
