Are you looking for a busy and meaningful role where no two days are the same? Join our friendly and welcoming coffee shop in Great Holm! We'd love someone comfortable in the kitchen, whether you're a confident cook or excited to use basic cooking skills, to support adults with learning disabilities. You'll help prepare meals and treats and assist participants in developing essential skills like food preparation, customer service, and money handling all within a supportive, realworld environment.

You'll spend much of your day on your feet, so being energetic and fit will be helpful. This is a varied role involving baking, cooking, serving, managing till transactions, planning menus, and coordinating community catering projects. We partner with local organisations including The Parks Trust and Bucks Fire & Rescue Service for events ranging from silver service catering to cupcake deliveries, so adaptability is a plus.

The heart of this role is working with people. You'll support adults with learning disabilities to build confidence, independence, and practical skills for work. Whether you're guiding them in the coffee shop, helping with shopping for ingredients, or encouraging them at community events, your kindness and encouragement will make a real difference.

We'd love to hear from you if you:

Enjoy cooking or baking and have basic kitchen confidence Are active, enthusiastic, and comfortable standing throughout the day Thrive when juggling different tasks Bring warmth, patience, and a caring approach to your work

If you're passionate about hospitality and eager to support others in meaningful ways, this could be the most rewarding role you ever take on.
