Are you looking for a part-time care role that makes a big difference? We're seeking a

Support Worker

to assist with rehabilitation work for a friendly older gentleman living independently in Newport. You'll play a crucial role in helping him stay active and engaged in both his home and the community.

This is not a personal care role -- support is focused on therapy-based activities, gentle prompting, and providing encouragement. The client receives regular physiotherapy, occupational therapy, and speech & language therapy, and your involvement will help him follow through with his rehabilitation plan.

What You'll Support With:

Gentle mobility support during activities Assisting with structured exercises provided by therapists Encouraging community involvement and social interaction Supporting safe routines and consistent engagement
What We're Looking For:

Someone confident and calm, ideally with some rehab or therapy-based support experience A good communicator who can follow professional guidance Emotionally aware, observant, and gentle in approach A driver with business insurance (must-have)
