We have vacancies for dedicated Support Workers to join our team in a Learning Disability unit service in Kilkeel.


The service will be supporting residents with Learning Disabilities and complex needs within their own self-contained apartment to live a full and valued life.


Job type - Full time or Part time, permanent


Hours - Day/Night duty


Salary - Circa 12.50 per hour

About The Role

Key responsibilities:

As a Support Worker, you will work with our residents to help them live life to the full Support the team to provide the highest quality, person-centred care and adhere to the PBS Plan. Assist resident with daily living activities and personal care whilst promoting independence, respect and dignity. Support resident's physical and emotional wellbeing. Promote best practice in relation to health & safety, confidentiality and security. Care will be carried out under the supervision / direction of a Team Leader and Senior Support Worker.

Ideal candidate:

Caring and friendly nature to help create a homely environment for our residents. Excellent communication and people skills. Experience in a care background is preferred but not essential as training will be provided.
