Join Our Team as a Support Worker - Make a Real Difference in Omagh!
Location: Omagh

Contract Types: Fulltime and Part-time (various hours and shifts available)

Are you a compassionate, patient, and dedicated individual with a passion for helping others? Mencap is looking for enthusiastic Support Workers to join our amazing team in Omagh, where your role will have a lasting impact on the lives of people with learning disabilities.


What You'll Do:
Support people with learning disabilities in their daily lives and routines Assist with personal care and medication, including showering/toileting and dressing Help with finances and everyday tasks like shopping and bill payments Encourage independence and social inclusion by supporting community activities and groups Use Positive Behaviour Support strategies to enhance quality of life Build trusting, meaningful relationships based on empathy and respect
What We're Looking For:
A genuine passion for supporting others Excellent communication skills Flexibility to work a range of shifts including evenings, weekends, and overnight A positive, patient, and empathetic attitude Willingness to register with NISCC and undergo an enhanced Access NI check
Contract & Shift Details:
Fulltime and Part-time Contracts Available

Shifts:


Day Shifts: 12 hour shifts starting between 9:00am - 11:00am Night Shifts: 9:00pm - 9:00am
(Rota prepared 4+ weeks in advance to support your work/life balance)
