Hi! I'm a young lady living with cerebral palsy who loves getting out into the community, staying social, and making the most of life. I'm currently looking for a kind, outgoing, and reliable support person to assist me with day-to-day activities and accompany me on fun outings.
A Bit About Me:
I have a bright personality and enjoy meeting new people
I love shopping trips, social events, going for walks, Holidays and exploring new places
I use a wheelchair, and I use a hoist may need a bit of help with some physical tasks, but I'm very engaged and love staying active in my own way
I use an eye gaze to communicate with others.
I need staff to support me with my personal hygiene
What I'm Looking For:
A positive, encouraging person who enjoys being out and about
Someone comfortable with providing gentle physical support as needed
Reliable, friendly, and good at communicating
Experience with disability support is a bonus, but not essential if you have the right attitude!

Shifts
Monday to Sunday on a rolling rota, days can be flexible.
Contracted Position
This is a great role for someone looking for a new challenge at a company that cares about you! Working as part of a team in Prenton, you will provide support to our lovely client in their own home. They are 18 years old, loves eating out, being social, beauty treatments and days out.
Our client has requested Female only support workers.
Our client has a diagnosis of cerebral palsy, because of this they have significant reduced movement in their upper and lower limbs and use a wheelchair, along with an eye gaze to communicate.
You MUST be a DRIVER & have a car. Non Drivers without a car will not be considered for this role.
PLEASE NOTE: Our pay rates are exclusive of holiday pay meaning you also get paid for when you take holidays, unlike some roles advertised on indeed.
Duties
- Provide support and assistance to individuals with physical or intellectual disabilities
- Help individuals participate in social and recreational activities
- Accompany individuals to appointments and outings
- Monitor and report any changes in behaviour or health status
- Maintain a safe and clean environment for individuals
Requirements
- Previous experience working with individuals with disabilities prefered but not essential.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Compassionate and patient demeanour.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends.
