We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Support Worker to join our team. Responsibilities
Support children and young people with daily living activities, promoting their comfort, dignity, and safety at all times.
Implement and adhere to personalised care plans, adapting to changing needs and preferences.
Provide nurturing childcare support, engaging children in stimulating and age-appropriate activities.
Communicate clearly and compassionately with children ,young people, families, and team members to ensure consistent and high-quality care.
Maintain thorough and accurate documentation of care provided, including any notable changes in behaviour or health condition.
Safely transport children and young people to appointments, social engagements, or activities, ensuring punctuality and wellbeing.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to continuously improve and coordinate care delivery.
Experience
Experience working with children or young people in a residential, educational, or social care setting is desirable
Understanding of safeguarding, trauma, and attachment-informed care
Ability to remain calm and responsive in challenging situations
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Flexible and reliable - willing to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and sleep-ins where required
A full UK driving licence is desirable but not essential
Enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check required (we can support this process)
