Our support workers will be expected to:
Cooperate with the House manager, Area manager and Service Manager in providing a happy, caring, and secure home life for the individuals, together with a well-structured programme of leisure activities and sociable events.

Record and report about a person you are assisting progress, including any issues which may need further help or support
To contribute to the implementation of support plans with a person who is accessing our services and (where required) their families, that fully involves them and reflects their strengths, needs and assists them in living the best possible life.

Anheddau is looking for a female individual who is honest, reliable, punctual, non-judgemental, has the ability to build good relationships based on trust and respect, flexible, adaptable, easy going, able to work alone, positive, willingness to travel, understands equality and diversity or has a good sense of humour.
In this role you will be expected to support 5 individuals who live in their own homes to live as independent and fulfilled lives as possible, you will support them in providing person-centred support, in response to each individual's needs and aspirations, this will require the post holder to be flexible and responsive to change.
The role involves working flexibly over 7 days, will involve evening work and some nights (where you will be able to sleep).
Where required assist with all aspects of personal care. Including, washing, personal hygiene, dressing and assisting with meals, whilst ensuring dignity and respect are maintained at all times for people.
Work as part of a team, providing practical and personal assistance to individuals, with the right support, promoting independence in a sensitive and professional manner, according to individual needs and wishes.
To administer medication when required, as prescribed, and recorded on the person's medication sheets. Staff managing the administration of medicines and those who administer medicines will have received appropriate training and support from health professionals.
Driving is desirable but not essential.
