Our teams provide individualised care and support for people with learning disabilities, autistic people and people with physical disabilities living in their community. Located in Holyport, Ronald Young Court is home to
nine
people with mild to moderate learning disabilities and autism. We recognise that each person has unique interests, needs and preferences, and we support our customers to be self-sufficient and work closely with them and their support networks to explore options to help them reach their goals.
We are recruiting
support workers
to work
full-time
covering a mix of mornings, afternoons and weekends.
Your role will be to support our customers in their day-to-day lives and could include assistance with personal care, managing medication, shopping and meal preparation, and supporting with emotional and physical wellbeing. We also provide support with life skills such as improving confidence, managing finances and being part of the local community to maintain important relationships.
Experience in the care sector would be beneficial but is not necessary as full training is provided, including classroom-based learning, shadowing experienced staff and online sessions.
Unless local, this role would be best suited for people with access to their own transport due to the location and limited public transport services.
