We are looking to recruit staff who demonstrate the values and principles that are required to effectively care for and support the vulnerable individuals that choose to use our service.
If you are successful in this role, you will be providing person centred support to vulnerable individuals in the community and who may require support in some or all of the following areas of their life;
building and maintaining positive relationships
helping to stay safe, healthy and promote personal wellbeing
assistance with medication
assisting individuals to become more independent
assisting individuals to have a voice and to become an active citizen
providing personal care
assisting with meals and general housekeeping duties
SVQ 2 in Health and Social Care is desirable however the correct values and willingness to care for vulnerable people are essential personal attributes.
It is essential that the post holder has a full driving licence and has access to a car whilst on duty.
The post holder must be flexible and be able to work various hours required throughout the day depending on the needs and wishes of the individual being supported.
