Summary

We are currently recruiting for experience support workers to join our Pottery House service based in Stoke -on -Trent. You will be providing 1-2-1 support to residents with challenging behaviour and learning disabilities.

Each day will be different and rewarding supporting residents with daily challenges, helping them to new life skills and independence.

Responsibilities

Provide daily support to residents in overcoming challenges and acquiring new life skills. Engage residents in day-to-day activities both within the home and the community. Support residents in achieving their personal goals and developing new skills. Promote a safe and nurturing environment, ensuring the well-being of all residents. Develop and maintain positive relationships with individuals, their families, and other stakeholders. Monitor and record the progress of individuals, ensuring all care plans are followed. Assist with daily living activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and household tasks.

Requirements

Experience of working within health and social care environment Caring and highly motivated to deliver outstanding care and support Resilience and patience when faced with challenges, adapting to residents needs Excellent communication skills Ability to use a computer - basic IT skills.
