Overview

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Support Workers to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential care and assistance to individuals in various settings, including assisted living facilities private home. Your primary focus will be on enhancing the quality of life for our clients through personalised support and companionship and assistance with daily living needs.

Duties

Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility support. Provide patient care and companionship to individuals with diverse needs, including Learning Disabilities and Mental Health Support clients in meal preparation and ensure proper nutrition is maintained. Administer medication as prescribed and monitor client health conditions. Engage in behaviour management techniques to promote positive interactions. Assist with heavy lifting when necessary, ensuring safety protocols are followed. Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients at all times. Document care provided and report any changes in client conditions to the appropriate personnel. Support clients at appointments or social activities as required.

Experience

Previous experience in assisted living, residential homes, or similar environments is highly desirable. Familiarity with care with Learning disabilities and Mental Health as this care is advantageous. Skills in caregiving and first aid are essential for ensuring client safety and well-being. Experience in home care settings is beneficial for understanding individual client needs. Pay: 12.50-13.50 per hour
