The successful candidate will provide essential assistance to individuals in care homes or home care settings, supporting their daily needs and promoting independence. Responsibilities

Assist clients with daily activities such as personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility Support clients in adhering to their individual care plans Encourage social interaction and engagement to promote mental well-being Maintain accurate records of care provided and any changes in client condition Assist with light domestic tasks to ensure a safe and comfortable environment Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to coordinate care Drive clients to appointments or outings when required, ensuring safe transportation Follow health and safety guidelines diligently, including infection control measures

Skills

Valid driving licence and experience in driving clients safely Experience working within a care home or providing home care support Knowledge of developing and implementing care plans tailored to individual needs Proficiency in English, with excellent communication skills for engaging with clients and team members Basic IT skills for maintaining accurate documentation and records Compassionate nature with strong interpersonal skills to build trust and rapport with clients Organised, reliable, and able to work independently or as part of a team

Job Type: Part-time
