We are seeking dedicated and compassionate
Support Workers
to join our Market based supported living team. This role involves providing person-centred care and support to individuals, empowering them to live as independently as possible in their own homes.
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
The Role:
We are looking for compassionate and experienced Support Workers to join our team. In this role, you will support people with learning disabilities in a supported living environment, helping to develop independence and achieve their personal goals. We support people with complex health and behavioural needs. Experience of PBS and or postural management is desirable.
Your duties will include:
Assisting with daily living activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and household tasks.
Supporting individuals in accessing community activities and services.
Following support plans and promoting independence.
Supporting people with healthcare interventions and positive behaviour support plans.
Maintaining accurate records and communicating effectively with team members, families, and other professionals.
Encouraging social interaction and helping people build relationships.
Providing emotional support and companionship.
Managing challenging behaviour and difficult situations.

What We're Looking For:
Previous experience working with people with learning disabilities, autism and mental health difficulties specifically EUPD.
Experience of working in supported living services
A compassionate approach with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Relevant qualifications in health and social care (e.g. Level 2/3 diploma in care or equivalent)
Flexibility to work shifts, including early, late, night, sleep ins, weekends, and public holidays.
A commitment to providing high-quality, person-centred care.
