We have a fantastic opportunity for a Supporter Experience Officer to join our dynamic Fundraising team.


Location:

Yeovil

Salary:

21,857.50 per annum (equivalent to a full-time salary of 26957.58)

Working pattern:

30 hours per week (can be worked over 4 or 5 days)

Contract:

Permanent

Hybrid Working:

This role will primarily be based in the office but there is flexibility to work from home on occasions.

What can you expect to be doing?




Your day-to-day work will include:

Acting as an Ambassador for St Margaret's fundraising team, meeting supporters at reception or family members in reception Being the first point of contact for existing and potential supporters, responding to enquiries received by telephone, email, and post Accurately managing and updating supporter records on the database this includes processing any offline donations that come into Yeovil Creating and sending timely, appropriate and tailored thank yous to supporters, Supporting ongoing stewardship of donors, undertaking outbound calls to welcome and thank new donors across our income streams, including regular givers, in-memory donors, event participants, and community fundraisers when required.

What will I be good at?



You will have:


Experience of delivering high quality customer care within a busy, rapidly changing environment. This includes being comfortable speaking with families that may have been recently bereaved. Knowledge of how to tailor communications to different types of supporters. Previous experience of using a database and feel comfortable processing donations and amending records where appropriate. Enjoy working as part of a supportive team, that keeps the supporter at the heart of everything we do Creative and imaginative in approach to ideas and opportunities
