Surveillance & Analytics PCO Manager - 12 month FTC
London

As a Barclays Surveillance and Analytics PCO - FTC, you will be joining our Global Surveillance team, reporting the driving of the overall end-end-to-end strategy across Transaction Monitoring processes and controls. This is an exciting opportunity to join a knowledgeable team, where you will be playing a key role working closely within the process and control oversight team globally in relation to Transaction Monitoring, and also supporting the continued enhancement of risk management across Financial Crime Risk and transaction cycles.

What will you be doing?

  • Supporting on key Global Surveillance strategic annual plan items and usual business activities
  • Responding to and monitoring issues as they arise, supporting escalation and management to successful closure
  • Supporting the development of the Bank\xe2\x80\x99s governance (e.g. Global Surveillance Operational Oversight Meeting)
  • Co-ordinating responses from a Transaction Monitoring perspective in response to regulatory examinations, Barclays Internal Audit, Assurance and enquiries where required
  • Supporting the development of the Operating Model for Transaction Monitoring, working closely with the Policy team to ensure enhancements are reflected in the appropriate Standards
  • Ensuring that processes across teams are consistent, as well as challenging their effectiveness and efficiency
  • Monitoring the team\xe2\x80\x99s service levels and managing the relationships with our service partners
  • Identifying improvements needed within the relevant systems and controls across the firm, continuously seeking more efficient and effective performance of the overall framework
What we\xe2\x80\x99re looking for:
  • Solid knowledge of Transaction Monitoring
  • Good understanding of Financial Crime
  • Experience in Controls and Issues Management
  • Experience of working in a global matrix environment
Skills that will help you in the role
  • Financial Crime, Compliance, Risk Management or related qualification is desirable but not essential
  • Understanding of Financial Crime and Markets Surveillance
  • Experience working with controls testing and design, as well as One CRA and RSCA, would be advantageous
  • Knowledge of the Regulatory environment and Risk Management with exposure to Compliance matters
