Overview

We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Swim Centre Staff to join our team at the swim centre. This role is essential in creating a safe, enjoyable, and educational environment for all patrons. As a member of our staff, you will engage with swimmers of all ages, providing guidance and support while promoting water safety and enjoyment.

Duties

Supervise swim sessions to ensure the safety and well-being of all participants. Educate swimmers on proper techniques and water safety practices. Assist in planning and delivering swimming lessons tailored to various skill levels. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the swim centre facilities. Provide excellent customer service to patrons, addressing any queries or concerns promptly. Collaborate with other staff members to organise events and activities that promote swimming as a sport. Monitor equipment and report any maintenance issues to ensure a safe environment.

Skills

Strong communication skills with the ability to educate individuals effectively. Experience or knowledge in sports coaching is advantageous. Ability to work well within a team and contribute positively to the work environment. A passion for swimming and promoting healthy lifestyles through aquatic activities. Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high safety standards. Flexibility in working hours, including evenings and weekends as required.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: Up to 18.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 10 per week
