Barton Leisure Centre, Oxford, OX3 8GA

Salary:

13.79per hour plus excellent benefits

Schedule:

24 hours per week offering flexible working hours.

Additional Teaching

hours also available salary 21.50 - 23.50 dependent on experience.

As a Swimming Coordinator in our More Leisure Community Trust team, you'll help shape high?quality swimming programmes that make a real difference to families, schools and local communities.

What you'll do as a Swimming Coordinator



You'll be entrusted to:

Manage, develop and monitor the delivery of the centre's Swimming Lesson programme. Lead, mentor and support a team of qualified Swimming Teachers, ensuring skills, learning and qualifications remain up to date. Coordinate staffing, performance, recruitment, rotas, annual leave and absence management. Develop and grow the School Swimming Programme and create new community?focused sessions and courses. Maintain excellent customer relationships, support outreach activity and work closely with centre teams on programme promotion. Produce reports, monitor session performance and contribute to communication and marketing activity.

You'll be a great fit for this role if you have:

Essential: Swim England Level 2 or STA Level 2 Swim Teacher Qualification is Desirable: NPLQ (National Pool Lifeguard Qualification) or NRASTC (National Rescue Award for swimming Teachers & coaches. (Training can be provided). Strong communication skills and the ability to deliver excellent customer service. Experience working in a leisure environment and developing a quality Swimming Lesson programme. Experience supervising colleagues, supporting development and managing performance.

is required for this role. This includes spent and unspent convictions, cautions, and any relevant information held by local police, in accordance with the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act and safeguarding requirements. You will also complete an
