Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Swimming Coach to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in sports coaching and a commitment to educating swimmers of all ages and skill levels. This role involves developing training programmes, enhancing swimming techniques, and fostering a positive and encouraging environment for all participants.

Responsibilities

Design and implement effective training programmes tailored to individual swimmer needs. Educate swimmers on proper techniques, safety protocols, and competitive strategies. Conduct regular training sessions, ensuring they are engaging and productive. Monitor swimmers' progress and provide constructive feedback to help them improve their skills. Organise swim meets, competitions, and other events to promote team spirit and camaraderie. Maintain a safe and clean training environment, adhering to health and safety regulations. Collaborate with parents, guardians, and other coaches to support the development of each swimmer. Has a potential to organise Galas/Swimming competitions Work closely with committee to support parents and swimmers

Qualifications

Proven experience in sports coaching, particularly in swimming. Strong knowledge of swimming techniques, rules, and competitive strategies. Excellent communication skills with the ability to educate and motivate swimmers effectively. Ability to work well with individuals of varying ages and skill levels. Relevant coaching certifications or qualifications are preferred but not essential. A passion for swimming and a commitment to fostering a love for the sport in others.
