Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Swim Instructor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for teaching swimming techniques and safety skills to individuals and small groups of various ages and skill levels. This role requires a passion for water safety, education, and the ability to engage with students in a supportive and encouraging manner.

Duties

Educate students on swimming techniques, water safety, and personal responsibility in aquatic environments. Develop lesson plans tailored to the needs and abilities of each student. Conduct individual and group swimming lessons in a safe and effective manner. Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback to help them improve their skills. Ensure the safety of all participants during lessons by enforcing pool rules and regulations. Maintain a clean and organised teaching environment, including equipment used during lessons. Communicate effectively with parents or guardians regarding their child's progress and any concerns that may arise.

Skills

Strong ability to educate individuals of all ages on swimming techniques and safety practices. Experience in sports coaching or teaching is highly desirable. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to engage effectively with students and their families. Patience, enthusiasm, and a positive attitude towards teaching. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a dynamic environment. Strong organisational skills to manage lesson plans and student progress efficiently.

Pay: 16.00-19.00 per hour
