Job Summary

We are seeking bank staff who is dedicated and enthusiastic Swim Instructor to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for teaching and a strong understanding of swimming techniques. As a Swim Instructor, you will be responsible for educating children of ages 3 months to 10 years in swimming skills, ensuring safety in the water, and fostering a positive learning environment.

Duties

Conduct swimming lessons for individuals or groups, adapting teaching methods to suit various skill levels. Educate students on water safety practices and swimming techniques. Develop lesson plans that cater to the needs and abilities of each student. Monitor students' progress and provide constructive feedback to enhance their skills. Ensure the safety of all participants during lessons by enforcing pool rules and regulations. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the pool area before, during, and after lessons. Collaborate with other instructors to create a cohesive learning experience for students. Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to enhance coaching skills.

Qualifications

Hold a level 2 STA swimming qualification or equivalent. Strong communication skills with the ability to engage and motivate students. A thorough understanding of swimming techniques and water safety protocols. Ability to work well with individuals children from babies to age 10 years. Certification in CPR and First Aid is advantageous. Must be patient, approachable, and able to adapt teaching styles to meet diverse learning needs.
