Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Swim Instructor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching and educating individuals of all ages in swimming techniques and water safety. As a Swim Instructor, you will play a vital role in promoting water confidence and ensuring that all participants enjoy a safe and engaging learning environment.

Responsibilities

Educate students on proper swimming techniques, strokes, and water safety practices. Conduct individual and group swimming lessons tailored to various skill levels. Monitor students' progress and provide constructive feedback to enhance their skills. Ensure the safety of all participants during lessons by maintaining a vigilant presence in and around the water. Create a positive and encouraging atmosphere that fosters learning and enjoyment. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the pool area before, during, and after lessons. Collaborate with other instructors to develop lesson plans and improve teaching methods.

Requirements

Previous experience in sports coaching or teaching swimming is highly desirable. Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with students of all ages. A thorough understanding of swimming techniques and water safety regulations. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed. Certification in CPR and First Aid is preferred but not essential; training may be provided. A passion for educating others and promoting an active lifestyle through swimming.

Pay: 22.00-27.00 per hour
