Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Swimming Instructor to join our team at Swimtime Berkshire. As a Swim Instructor, you will be responsible for teaching swimming techniques to individuals of all ages and abilities, ensuring a safe and enjoyable learning environment. You will play a key role in educating students on water safety, swimming strokes, and the benefits of swimming for personal fitness and wellbeing.

Duties

Conduct engaging swimming lessons for a variety of age groups, from beginners to advanced swimmers. Develop and adapt lesson plans to suit the unique needs and abilities of each student. Educate students on essential water safety practices and promote the importance of swimming skills. Monitor students' progress and provide constructive feedback to help them improve their skills. Maintain a safe and clean environment in and around the pool area at all times. Communicate effectively with students and their guardians regarding progress, achievements, and any concerns. Participate in ongoing training and development to continually enhance instructional techniques.

Skills

Strong ability to teach swimming techniques and ensure water safety. Experience in teaching swimming is highly desirable. (1 year) Ability to inspire and motivate students of all ages and abilities. Strong interpersonal skills to establish positive relationships with students and their families. Patience and adaptability to cater to different learning styles and paces.

Qualifications Needed:

Level 2 Swim Teaching Certificate (required) Baby & Pre-School Qualification (desirable) Life Saving / Rescue Certificate Safeguarding Certificate Current DBS Insurance
